| The Entrance to Gryffindor Tower
On the seventh floor, is the portrait of the Fat Lady. The correct password gives you entrance to Gryffindor Tower, not the common room. This is often misunderstood. (As viewed in Prisonr of Azkaban. The scene where the Fat LAdy was slashed) The Fat Lady acts as a door between the Grand Staircase and Gryffindor Tower.

A large stone gargoyle blocks the entrance to the Headmaster's Corridor. The correct password is needed to make the gargoyle spring aside, revealing the staircase.

| The Hogs Head
The Hog's Head is another pub, which attracts more unusual customers than the Three Broomsticks. The hanging sign in front of the pub has a severed boar's head leaking blood onto the white cloth around it. The pub itself is filthy, with the floor covered under layers and layers of dirt, the windows are smeared with so much grime that they hardly let any light through. While students are permitted to go to the pub, they are strongly advised to bring their own glasses. The bartender is an elderly man, and is in fact Albus Dumbledore's brother, Aberforth.

The decor is on the tacky side of frilly - Madam Puddifoot goes overboard with this on Valentine's Day, when she hires floating golden cherubs to throw pink confetti on trysting couples.

| Honeydukes Sweetshop
Honeydukes is one of the most famous wizarding sweetshops in the world. It sells wizard candies and treats of all descriptions, including Chocolate Frogs, Licorice Wands, and cockroach Clusters. Honeydukes is particularly well known for their special kind of fudge. They also sell creamy chunks of nougat, pink squares of coconut ice, honey-colored toffees, and row upon row of different kinds of chocolate.
Honeydukes sweets are sold to students on the Hogwarts Express tea trolley on the journeys to and from Scotland and London.
The owners, Ambrosius Flume and his wife, live in an apartment above the shop.

| Gringotts Wizarding Bank
This snowy-white building towers over neighbouring shops. Customers pass through a set of bronze doors and then silver ones before entering the lobby. The main floor is paved with marble and has long counters stretching along its length. The vaults are miles below, accessible through rough stone passageways and then by means of magic carts that travel speedily along their tracks. The inscription on the front door reads:
Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.
